2018 VEGA SICILIA VALBUENA RIBERA DEL DUERO

Valbuena is not a second Wine, but a different style to Unico. It is fresher and provides a more supple palate, with 3 years spent in oak and a further 2 years in Bottle prior to release. Tempranillo is blended with a small amount of Merlot and Malbec, and occasionally some Cabernet Sauvignon.â€â€¦lush dark berry fruits interlaced with scents of espresso and bay leaf. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, crisp acidity with a composed, focused finish of black cherries, raspberry, cedar and mocha.
