(91 Points) This wine represents the newest addition to the Castello di Bossi portfolio of wines. The 2013 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione opens to mild aromas of forest berry, redcurrant, spice, grilled herb and crushed stone. Although the wine holds back in terms of aromatic intensity, it does deliver firmness and a finely knit texture that adds to the polished nature of the mouthfeel and the wine's overall persistency. It is aged in oak for two years. Some 20,000 bottles were made. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
