The White Bone rows are located over a patch of sandy soil layered with calcareous deposits and limestone. Fossilized animal bones can be found among the limestone, remnants of ancient rivers that passed through the region. This wine has a bit more minerality to the nose, that fresh limestone showing a bit more pronounced still with a good amount of zesty lemon citrus and may have a whiff of oak spice but the focus here is on the earthy aromas. A bright and focused wine ont he tongue with a solid core of tree fruit apple, pear and lemon and a long mineral laced finish, light chalky notes at the end. Finish 45+ Most Excellent
