1983 Lake's Folly Cabernet Sauvignon, Hunter Valley, Australia
Medium crimson, browning off. Strong regional Hunter characters with red berry fruits. Unfortunately, some mercaptans, but also some lovely earthy, forest floor aromas. Excellent aged Folly. Tightly structured with a still sweet fruit palate – great complex aged wine.
