(94 Points) The 2017 Ried Kellerberg Grüner Veltliner offers a concentrated and aromatic, coolish, flinty and herbal bouquet. Round and lush on the palate, this is a generous and initially creamy-textured Veltliner, yet with more aeration, it becomes vital, refined and tensioned, with mineral grip and shining fruit. Crystalline and tight, the 2017 Kellerberg is still closed, but it's full of energy, tension and aging potential. The wine currently has more flesh and fine tannins and doesn't breathe as much as the 2018, but this is only the very first impression. However, there is grip, salt and tension, and in the end, it won't be far behind the 2018, if you like to have a ranking. I discovered that the wine starts to breathe and shine with one hour of aeration. Tasted at the domain in September 2019. Issue Date, 31st Mar 2020. Source- End of March 2020, The Wine Advocate
