This is also from the winery in Rioja Alvaresa, 85% Tempranillo with Graciano and Mazuelo, as all of the wines from this property, this is the new fancy winery and this wine has a good amount of fresh strawberry fruit a good bit of that barnyard earthy character and a dried meat like character. A light and refreshing style of Rioja with smooth silky tannins and bright red berry fruit and a lovely freshness, light spice on the finish, holds up very nicely on the second day.
