This wine is from a single vineyard located in the most prestegous part of the Willamette Valley. This wine sees 10 months of a mix of new and used French oak and has a whopping 12.5% alcohol. A good bit of fresh earth/barnyard like notes to the light red berry fruit and has a light smoky character, nice complexity here on the nose. Bright and zesty on the tongue with a smooth and silky texture notes of that earthy character through the finish, only 300 cases produced, a firm hand of acidity holding things in place, a good amount of spice on the finish. This line now has natural cork used to be stelvin and his entry level wine has a synthetic cork. Finish 40+ Excellent +
