2012 Cattleya Wines Pinot Noir Donum Vineyard Carneros Sonoma

A distinct smoky character to the black cherry and wild strawberry jam like fruit very forward fruity with an array of exotic spices, mint and floral notes. More acidity and more tannins here in the 2013 vintage. A big and chewy wine style of pinot noir with lots of tannins here, a bit on the austere side but has lots of everything very well built.
