(93 Points) Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2008 Roennfeldt Road Shiraz shows off an incredibly intense nose of dried mulberries, blackcurrant cordial and blueberry preserves with hints of dried plums, figs, dates and Christmas pudding. Very big, voluptuous and full-bodied in the mouth, it has a little of that juxtaposed under-ripe (sour and hard) and over-ripe (raisin / dried fruit flavor) character that is characteristic of this heat-wave-blighted vintage. Nonetheless it is a very good and complex wine that is consistent with the style of Roennfeldt Road Shiraz. Drink it now to 2022+. Wine Advocate
