2021 Bouchard Pere et Fils Beaune Clos de La Mousse 1er Cru

This vineyard was bequethed to the church of notre dame de Beaune by cannon edme de saudon. Lots of red fruit aromas cherry and wild strawberry fruit on the nose with smoky notes, nice complexity. This wine has lovely richness on the tongue with a smooth silky texture, sexy, spicy and has excellent concentration and depth of spice earth and fine tannins through the finish, some of those smoky notes coming out along with some tannins, but fine and elegant this wine needs 5-7 years in the cellar.
