This small 9 hectare domaine is run by the father and son team and they have a farily traditional style of production, a cold soak maceration and the wine spends 16 months on the fine lees in small oak. This parcel is between 60-80 years old, this wine has a good amount of ripe red berry fruit on the nose with pretty brown spice and fresh earth notes. A very fruit forward wine with lots of red cherry berry fruit and a nice hand of ripe round tannins on the finish, drinking very nicely right now but has excellent structure and a long finish, lots of zesty spice.
