A barrel selection made with about 15% whole clusters and 60% new oak, the 2017 Pinot Noir Estate Reserve opens with soft scents of bergamot, red berries and blackberries, dried citrus and saline with lots of underlying spiciness. Medium-bodied, it has slow-to-open flavor layers, a firm but grainy frame and uplifting freshness, finishing long and spicy. (EB)    Review Date: 07/2020
