This wine has an intense ruby-red color, flecked with garnet reflections. Its nose is one of ripe fruit with mint tones. Well structured with well defined tannins, it is fat in the mouth due to the vintage. Grown on calcarous-clayey soil with southern exposure, these Nebbiolo grapes are macerated on the skins for approximately 15 days. The wine is then aged for 24 months, part in new oak barriques and part in second-use barriques, then it is finished in the bottle for 2 years. Average No. cases/year: 265
