2015 Staatliche Weinbaudomane Oppenheim Oelberg Nierstein GG
These two sites are on the red slate soils, the red slope, they are two of the famous sites in Germany therefore the GG status. The Oelberg is a bit higher in sugar 5.9 with the Glock at 3.6 8.0 and 7.7 respectively with the acidity levels, a bit of a perfumed nuance to the nose lemon blossom. A good intensity on the tongue with lots of everything, a rich creamy texture on the tongue and a long finish, this wine is a bit tightly wound at the moment but has everything in proportion just needs time.
