2016 Painted Wolf The Den Chenin Blanc Swartland

This wine has a lively aroma and flavour of Persian melon and pear with an underlying savoury minerality. The wine has a great texture and a long layered finish with bright acidity keeping it fresh and vibrant.

The Vineyard

Chenin Blanc is harvested from a number of blocks on farms in the Swartland region, both irrigated and dry farmed vines of 20 to 40 years old. Finished with around 10% Chardonnay
