1988 D'Oliveira Terrantez Vintage Madeira

Terrantez is the rarest of grapes on Madeira, producing spicy, yet fresh and slightly sweet dessert wines. D'Oliveira makes some of the very best examples. This wine, as is the case with vintage, single grape variety Madeira, will truly impress for its intensity of flavors and huge acidity. You can have vintage Madeira open for many months, even years, without much noticeable degradation in quality. Also, please note that these wines love air, and will greatly reward decanting prior to service.
