A very ripe and forward vintage from the Piedmont already very showy bouquet of aromas dark cherry liqueur like fruit with notes of truffle, an array of fresh flowers and exotic spices, camphor and mint, very complex on the nose. Thick and chewy on the tongue with layers of sweet liqueur like fruit, firm tannins and a firm hand of acidity this wine is still a baby but has all the right stuff should be fantastic in 5-10 years in the bottle.
