Santa Rita Winery in Chile has influenced this region to go with Sta. Rita Hills so there is no confusion there is a bit of a smoky note, bacon fat with cranberry like fruit and notes of brown spice, light smoky notes. A very rich and layered wine onthe tongue with silky smooth tannins thick viscous wild strawberry like fruit raspberry coulis and an array of spice and earth notes through the finish.
