The Marcassin Estate is located on the Sonoma Coast which has quickly become known as one of the best areas in all of California for growing the Pinot Noir varietal. This extreme growing region, one of the coldest in all of California, produces wines with incredible depth and concentration especially when you have doctrine of Helen Turley of low yields and harvesting at the peak of ripeness. These extreme growing conditions paired with the viticultural and winemaking practices of one of California’s leading enological minds of the 20th century produced some of the greatest Pinto Noir and Chardonnay that the world has to offer. Tonight we will taste thought a line-up of this properties greatest wines including a vertical selection of both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
